Information about Service tax
Q: Hi I have booked the under construction property in bangalore, Bommanahalli Apt cost -28 lakh (Exclusive of Registration)They have asked me Rs.80000 for Service tax, and they will give only on Builders Bill.Whether it is the Right price? Can i pay the amount directly to Govt? pls let me know the procedure.

Latest Answer: I do not have much knowledge about service tax but the buyer can pay the amount to the builder and the builder will deposit the same with the government.
