Q: Agreement was done with a hope of having shelter and put stop to rent burden. Finally after paying 95% of flat cost they said possession would be delayed by 12 months. customer is overburdened with an EMI as well as with a huge rents. There is no any proper response from builder side about compensation. Is builder ready for registration of our flats? Is any one got it done? Kindly advice.

Mantri has been taking all of us who put our trust in them for granted. I have created a group email - dedicated only for genuine owners of Mantri Celestia properties. I hope that we can all get together on this and take up our concerns around the continuous delays with the Celestia project with the Mantri Management. And hopefully if presented by a collective group, our concerns will be taken more seriously and by people who are more responsible and serious about customer commitments.
It is good that we all come together. It is mental agoney of not having a flat inspite of paying 95% cost 15 months back. No date of handover is foreseen, if the present trend continues. Let us join the group and fight for early delivery and reduction in the price per sft to compensate the loss of interest/rent/emi burden. It seems Mantri has issued letters to owners informing delay in handing over till sept 2013. I have not received any such letter. have any one received letters from Mantri purportedly dated 24th December 2012

I think demanding financial compensation from Mantri Celestia is the way forward to go, for the delay , jointly by the owners of flats.
In a recent Delhi Consumer Court judgement against DDA compensation of Rs.5 lacs to each flat owner was given.

Hi Shree, has the Mantri developer promised for any compensation for delay? If yes, how much per month?
there is a Delhi Consumer Court judgement against DDA to pay compensation of Rs.5 lacs to each flat owner. Let us also put pressure of Mantri for similar compensation.

Q: When Mantri Celestia going to handover the flats and what compensation we can fight from the builder. One option i suggest is reducing the per sft cost by atleast Rs.50 on the agreement amount.

Q: I think it is extremely frustrating and tantamounts to cheating. I had a delayed payment from my end and they charged 18% interest for one installment for the delay and kept sending notices for rest of the payments which I had to make only to fiture that it is now delayed till June 2014. I am willing to join a class action suit against Mantri for fraud and cheating asking for all the payments when they clearly know that the project is being delayed.

Hi All Concerned, I have already uploaded the scanned copy of the letter to the commonfloor. They are silent on the date of handover of procession even after the registration of the flat. The letter says handover will be made after registration. They are trying to collect the final instalement also and complete the remaining pending works with our money. Q: I received letter from Mantri that my flat in towner E is ready for possession and pay the amount for registration. Has anyone so far registered and taken possession of their respective flat.
