Thanks, Gaurav what I know regarding benefit of property tax is that the total amount of interest deduction is restricted to Rs 1,50,000 if the property is self-occupied. As it is located close to bus stands, hospitals, multiplexes, banks and education institutes, prices will definately take an upbeat in future. As per my knowledge, existing rail and road connectivity, upcoming metro rail and expansion of elevated MRTS rail facilities, conversion of ECR into a four-lane highway and the expansion of OMR into six-lane are some of the major factors which will help the growth pattern of South Chennai. Ground water in Perumbakkam and near about this area are too salty. Also, I have inquired some of the people who stay there and they are telling that we can't even use the water for bathing and washing. So they are buying water from tanks and managing their needs.
