The rate is depends on the area or place , so first describe specific area where you want to buy flat. Q: I have booked a 3BHK flat in Pune. Building was under construction and plinth work was going on. I paid 22 lacs to builder. As this is my first property, I did not know the legal process. I paid amount by cheque (considering it is safe). Buider has given me receipt on his letter pad. No building work is stopped and office is also closed. Phone number is also not working. Builder is bully and have lot of politics connections. Not sure what to do in this case. Can someone help how to handle this situation and get my money back.

You should take the help of Media and get register for legal paper in court. Make a case, as you are the buyer and you have paid the booking amount to the builder.
