What is a patta and how to get a patta for plot of land?
Q: We have a plot of land in Pollachi and wanted to know what is the significance of Patta? Also, please can one of you suggest how and from where do we get the the required" patta" for the plot of land? Many thanks in advance. Regards, Harish

Latest Answer: Hi Chetan, I agree with your point, but few more important documents are also required including: 1. Tax receipts. 2. Pay relevant fees 3. A survey may be required. 4. The Patta can be obtained from the Tahsildar/VAO office and can also be viewed from e services online service.
