I moved into Indore 3 months ago as i got posted here by my company. I have been staying in the company provided guest house as of now near ab road. My wife and kids are coming down in a months time from now. As, obviously, they cannot stay in the company guesthouse, I urgently need some leads on a 2bhk apartment - preferably near recongnised schools and within an apartment complex. Also, since I stay in ab road, I have a fairly decent idea of the locality and hence will be looking at apartments in ab road mostly. Please, suggest some options as this an urgent requirement.
Latest Answer: You can find a 2bhk apartment from 6000 to 2000, depending on your budget. Since you have given a basic clue about what you are looking for you could check out the Silver Springs township or Dream city. Both are gated communities with amenties your family will enjoy. Also, dont worry about the schools as there are plenty around. A good idea would be for you to check out online sites for owners who have posted their properties on those sites. This saves youthe hassle of brokerage fees and helps you find a home faster.

Latest Answer: Hi all,
I would like to tell you that the Rs 432-crore project, which was launched by BJP patriarch Lal Krishna Advani on February 25 in the presence of senior BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj, former BJP chief Nitin Gadkari, Yog guru Baba Ramdev and Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan seems to have been forgotten by the state government.
Q:
Moving to Mahalaxmi Nagar in Indore pretty soon. I’ve heard that the city faces a severe power crisis. What’s the situation in this locality guys? Any idea?
Latest Answer: I know. Powercuts related to load sheddings are a frequent feature. Also what happens is the power supply is often affected by the rains and the weather changes. I feel that its due to inadequate infrastructure. In fact right after the second rainfall of this monsoon, the power went out in the evening and it only came back next day morning. Its harassing because the residents have to suffer through without power through all the seasons. During summer there are powercuts on the name of pre-monsoon maintenance work, but still the power goes off almost everytime it rains. So i don’t know what maintenance they are doing actually.
Q:
Can someone please tell me any information on these apartments at RAS Town and when they are going to be available?
Latest Answer: You'll get more details here http://www.commonfloor.com/ras-town-indore/povp-ijxdkx. I think State Bank, ICICI Home Finance, HDFC Home loans are all loan providers for this project. You also get 1 bhk apartments for 10 which is 2 lacs lesser than most other gated communities which is something you should definitely consider. Apart from that ras Town seems to be centrally located. The neighbourhood is constantly living and is not dull by any means.
Q:
Does anyone know the price of 3 bhk gated community apartments in and around Pipliya Kumar and the type of amenities they would provide?
Latest Answer: A 4bhk costs about 1 crore so a 3bhk must be between 60 to 8o lacs. I read on this link http://www.commonfloor.com/pinnacle-d-dreams-indore/povp-ysxtf0 that they're bank approvals are HDFC bank, LIC Housing Finance, State bank of India and ICICI bank if you're interested. There are many other luxury apartments available at cheaper prices in different areas though or are you only looking at Pipiliya Kumar?
Q:
I saw on the news that Rau Pithampur road is suffering from a water crisis? What exactly is the problem? Are the civic issues even dealt with in that locality?
Latest Answer: See 50% of the industries have this engine based process but other 50% badly requires water supply. Indore overall faces lots of water shortage and even residents are affected because of this. Pithampur is a Special Economic Zone and it cannot stop production process. It is very bad for Indore, if industry sector is affected. Even others SEZs are suffering because of lack of water. Civic Authorities should figure out what to do otherwise it is a real pity. Even international companies like Bridgestone from Japan was forced to shut down. If this happens, less companies will have faith in investing here. I don't understand why the authorities don't think about these things.

Q:
Hello everybody. As I am interested to invest in the locality of Mangliya, I want to know if there are any upcoming infrastructure projects in the area. I heard about a flyover being built recently, can anyone elaborate on this?
Latest Answer: Hello. Here is some of my insight to elaborate on the alternate road being built from VIP road behind airport police station through Palhar nagar. This is being done primarily to solve the traffic issues that are prevalent on roads going to and from the airport. The distance to the airport will be reduced by about 2 km with the construction of this road, and it will be accompanied by a road connectivity project of Rs 18 crore. In total, the Indore Municipal Corporation has set aside Rs 250 crores for the improvement of road connectivity in different localities by constructing separate roads as well as by-lanes.
Q:
Hey guys....we are a bunch of college students studying in BM College of Tech. We are pursuing our engineering degree and have been living in a PG during our first year. Both of us are fed up with the rules and timings of the PG and are looking for a 2bhk apartment. Our budget is around 12k and we are looking for an area where there will be lots of eating places and hang-out spots. Can you guys suggest some happening area in Indore for me and my buddy to live in?
Latest Answer: I agree with the above comment about ab road being the most happening place in Indore. However, be wary as there are many families who reside in the area and would not appreciate too much noise. Prefereably, look in locations that have a a lot of student residential population. But, ab road is definately the best option for you guys. Contact the local agents and tell them your requirements. They generally find the right place according to your needs. Cheers!
Q:
I don't completely understand the different types of Sarthak Singapore Green View flats in Indore. Ayone has any information on this?

Q:
How is the Rangwasa locality? Can I buy a property as an investment for the future?
Latest Answer: Rangwasa is basically a small village in Indore, which is in the south of Indore. It is around 14 kms from the main heart of Indore city. One of the major landmarks near the village is the IIM Indore campus, which is only 3kms from the area. It is a developing area, but you can't currently live there because you have to go to Indore city to get any amenities. But, the area has many educational institutions and hospitals, so if you are buying a property here, not only will it appreciate in the future, but you can also give it for rent for the many students who study near the area. I think it is a very good investment decision if you are buying a property there.
Q:
How is the garbage disposal system in Shreenagar?
Latest Answer: Okay, the garbage disposal condition is not so good in Shreenagar. The main reason behind this, is the employee strike in A2Z, which is the company hired by the IMC for garbage disposal across the city.
The illegal dumping grounds in Shreenagar are a matter of concern for all the residents there. It is a breeding ground for insects and other pests. The condition worsens when it rains.
The IMC is actually planning for better garbage disposal systems, like door-to-door garbage collection drives, to improve conditions at Shreenagar

The airport is 8 km from the apartments, and the railway station is only 1.8 km away. If you want the 2BHK house, the area of the house will be between 1048 sq. ft. and 1200 sq. ft, and the 3BHK is between 1500 sq. ft. and 1600 sq. ft. Q:
Is the Countywalk Township a good project to buy a villa? Can anyone give me some information about these villas? How many bedrooms, what is the floor plan, etc? Also, is the location good?
Latest Answer: Hey, I think you picked quite an interesting project. if you’re looking to invest in villas on the Agra-Bombay bypass, then I think the Countrywalk Township is one of the best projects. The location is a bit on the outskirts of Indore city, but still it is quite well connected with the rest of the city. It is just 6km away from Vijay Nagar and the locality is pretty good too.
You can buy plots at this township project; the square foot price being Rs 1300. So the 2500 square feet plot will cost you Rs 32.5 lacs and the 5000 square feet plot will cost you Rs 65 lacs.

I’m planning to move to Indore soon. I’ve heard that the water supply conditions are not so good here. Will the Narmada Phase III project help in improving the water supply in Indore?
Latest Answer: Hey, the water problem is not that severe in Indore now as it was a few years back. The Narmada Phase III project has increased the water supply to some degree, if not all the way, and its only getting better.
I don’t think you would face much water crisis problems as the IMC has recently started an extra 90mlds of water in addition to the previous 210mlds. So now the citizens of Indore will receive a total of 300 million litres of water every day from the Narmada projects. Further 25 mlds of water will be provided from the dams at Yeshwent Sagar and Bilawali
