Let me be frank...they are actually trying to force us to take handover of the apartments..But, the thing is that none of the facilities are available here. Actually, Khalista which is a project of the Olive builders has 5 towers. Of this 3 towers are actually ready to move in. The work of the 4th tower will finish in December 2015. So obviously this will be a welcome change to the lives of us Kochiites. Actually there will be mostly a number of buses and trucks, because of the mobility hub. And not only the Kaniampuzha road, there are plans to widen the Vytilla-Pettah road as well. yes, Im afraid he's right. Infact some of these roads in Kochi are centuries old. From the time when Kochi was under a monarchy. Ok so currently this is a 500 m stretch and completely riddled with a number of potholes. We find it extremely difficult to drive over this place. ITs harder when we are taking a bus in this route. A major problem area is the narrow bottleneck near the Vennala High School Junction and surrounding areas . The corporation is going to thoroughly check every building permit application, especially for the projects that are happening in the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ). This was regulated by the mayor of Kochi actually. So I think they are taking this whole debacle rather seriously. This is the first phase only. The entire project is actually sceduled to be completed by around 2020. The total cost of the construction which includes the construction of a new railway overbridge near to the existing one and a road to the airport entry point is estimated to be around 40 lakh rupees. Yes the Ernakulam Market Canal has been cleaned and renoveated. It has be de-silted and the depth of the canal has been increased a spasrt of the renovation. They have also added fencing around the canal and have added a walkway over it. :) It is going to be really beautiful.
I agree, now that everything is being cleaned and renovated, i think that a lot of people will be keen on investing here more. and its a good idea too, I expect to see a lot of returns and profitts in the future for the investments.

I think that the area of the apartments starts from 986 sq ft for a 2 bhk apartment and 1240 sq ft for a 3 bhk apartment, The 4 bhk apartments are duplex houses, of an area of 1973 sq ft. Hii, Aluva is a nice place to live in and this particular project actually looks good. They are providing a lot of features in the apartmnets like a multi purpose hall for parties, a swmming pool and play area for kids, a jogging track and round the clock security.

There are plenty of apartments available in Kakkanad, either for buying or for renting. You can get 1 or 2bhks easily. The average rent prices here is Rs 12 per sq feet, whichi s slightly high, but the locality is totally worth it. This is a really luxury apartment project near to the backwaters of Maradu. there is a beautiful landscaped garden and a swimming pool in the project. They also have a play area, health facilities, 24 hour power backup facilities, security services, intercom facilities, gymnasium, indoor games facilities, community hall etc that is included in this project.
yeah..along with this, the project will also include some good structure also with some premium internal and outdoor painting and coating, wooden doors and frames, flooring with vitrified tiles for living, dining and bedrooms, kitchen and toilet flooring with ceramic tiles, and paver blocks for car parking area etc.

Hey hey,, i came to know that this project is under construction only. The project is built by the builders called Souparnika Group. they are primarily focusing on providing villas only. I think there are almost 70 villas set in around 4 acres of land here.
yeah..these villas can be chosen between 3 bhk villas as well as 4 bhk villas. the villas are connected with a 5 meter tarred internal road and will have a separate compound wall with gate. they are really affordable i think.

I would like to say that Vazhakkala is near to the Civil Lines road which connects to the salem-kochi-kanyakumari highway. It is also adjacent to the seaport-airport express way. the Kunnampuram-NGO Quarters road intersects this region. so connectivity is not an issue in this part of the town.
Yeah, connectivity is great. there are some very important bus stops in Vazhakkala. Some of them are NGO Quarters bus stop, Kunnampuram Bus stop, Padamugal Bus stop, Vazhakkala Bus stop etc. This is a decent residential locality also. Some of the localities suitable for residence is NGO quarters, Mythripuram, Amanakara, Kunnumpuram, Palachuvadu, etc.

I took a look at its amenities personally and it is eco-friendly. The apartment has a rain-water harvesting unit so water issues are rare as it rains at regular intervals. Hi dude, yes in my opinion Fern Silver Spring is a pretty decent residential apartment. With facilities like swimming pool, broadband internet, 24 hour power supply, intercom, rain water harvesting, library, and gymnasium, the project is definitely worth giving a shot.

the mathai manjooran road runs through the heart of Ayyappankavu actually. Some good schools are there in this area. Some of the schools that are really liked by the residents are SN Higher Secondary School, Sree Narayana High School, Lowood School, Time Kids etc.
yeah. this area is in the city area of Kochi no..that's why city bus serivice is also available here. There are some good shopping places along the road. I think that the connectivity is one of the very good advantage of this locality. It is in the corporation limits and is just some 20 minutes distance from the Kochi city area. Vyttila Mobility hub is very nearby. And the Salem-Kochi-Kanyakumari Highway is passing adjacent to this locality.
Yeah..actually, you can see an influx of residential settlement in this region. The area has some very good individual houses as well as villa type houses set in a very peaceful and calm ambience. You would surely like to settle here.

Hey, the connectivity via railway is quite good in this region. I think that the Nettoor Railway station is located at the closest to this area. But you can see that the Ernakulam junction railway station is the most popular railway station for long distance travels. It is 12 km away from this locality, but you can reach there in around half an hour if there is no problem of traffic.

I came to know that the locality of Athani has a good residential ambience here. It has a mix of greenery. Many residents are into farming. I came to know that lately when there was a Director board meeting, the boar has approved Rs. 250 crore for the project. It has to be utilized before March 31st 2015. As a builder, I think because of the very tight competition which is ever growing, there has been many builders who are concentrating in this small city. Because of this, there has been a slight drop in the flat and apartment sales, and it is a matter of concern. Well, you haven't mentioned the type of apartment you're looking for. There is a 4 bhk available too. The surface area of the flat ranges from 2330 sq ft to 2730 sq ft. Earthspace Transit apartment project is a project that is undertaken by the Earthspace builders. They are new in the real estate business but after the completion of their project in Kochi and Kottayam they have grown in the field. In the recent years, the encroachment in the area has become rampant as the demand for land became more and more. Along with this the government authorities, especially, the Greater Cochin Development authority people could not effectively utilize and manage such small land holdings. Oh, this road is actually a 300 metre stretch starting from the CSI Emmanuel Church to the road behind Sea Lord Hotel. I think for the interlocking, the interlock bricks would be laid on a double layer of the powder and gravel. I think that this will help to keep it more perennial than the tarred roads. The granite powder is actually helpful in resisting the accumulation of mud. Hey, I know this locality very well. This area is actually near to the town of Edappally and Kakkanad. The localities of Mundampalam, Kaipadamugal, Karippassery, Kangarappady, Karimakkad, Palachuvadu etc are the nearby areas to this area. The area is quite good for residential purposes.

The Kerala high court has finally given its nod for the concerned authorities to go ahead with the land acquisition process for the Pachalam rail over bridge project after this news generated a lot more unwanted attention and drew oppositions from the locals.

Yes. There has been this issue right now. There is actually a technical glitch which has put a stop of several of the residents' plan to renovate and reconstruct their homes. I think that there are certain guidelines for this also. Hmm..I came to know that a spokesman for the Action Committee said at the end of the meeting with the Chief Minister that the State would help resume laying of the Kochi-Koottanadu-Bangalore-Mangalore pipeline, which has been held up for more than a year. The NHAI had acquired around 45 m of land for the four laning of national highway.
