Hi all, Anyway, there are laws about the behaviour that you have described. For instance Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1988 says it is an offence to use abusive, threatening or insulting words language or behaviour with the intention of casuing alarm distress of harrassment. (That is clearly what happened in the incident that you described)
I am really grateful for enlightening me on such incidents.Really lots of thanks. The commitee member of Anand Residency, Kothrud,Pune Satyajeet Shaligram had insulted me for literally no fault of mine. For days I was perturbed.Your answers have calmed the agony in me and have garnered courage in me. Hi, There may be a fine line between anti-social behaviour and disputes between neighbours over relatively minor inconveniences, although these may, if persistent, become anti-social behaviour. Anti-social behaviour can include: intimidation of neighbours and others through threats or actual violence harassment, including racial harassment verbal abuse homophobic behavior To deal with anti-social behaviour you can do one or more of the following: 1) take action yourself, including going to court if you want compensation or an order to stop the behaviour from recurring, you should consult an experienced adviser, for example, a Citizens Advice Bureau. To search for details of your nearest CAB, including those that can give advice by email 2) get the local authority to take action 3) get the police to take action
Thank you very much sadhana mandke
