Security deposit for rental house in Chennai?
Q: Hi, This is Shankar from Chennai. I'm pursuing Ph.D. Criminology in University of Madras and looking for home in Triplicane. So far all the property owners mentioned security deposit of 10 months rent amount, recently High Court of Madras passed an order of security deposit should be One month's rent. Why don't commonfloors.com indicate the property owners to follow court order as per the law. Expecting your reply. Thanks.
