Details of Service Tax and VAT by the land owner to the builder
Q: A House is constructed with two floor by the house owner to a private builder. Total area of building is 2600sqft. Does any service tax and vat charges are be paid by the land owner to the builder. If so what is the percentage of VAT and Service tax

Latest Answer: Every person, providing any of the specified taxable services is required to pay Service Tax. But it is to be collected and paid to Government Exchequer by the service provider. I would suggest you to discuss it with a legal expert for further clarification.
