Kolkata metro is funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency ,Railways, and the Union urban development ministry. Q:Hi..since construction work at kochi metro will start on its desired time , then why does any side roads have been laid..?? Traffic will increase if these roads are nor relayed.
Latest Answer: Totally agree with you Lewin...Relaying of side roads is specially important on the stretch between Edappally and Kaloor because once the metro is initiated at this sector then the traffic will have to be averted from the old highway linking Edappally, Mamangalam, Palarivattom and Kaloor.
