Q:Hey, i missed the budget speech, and was looking for some information about the bugdet allocated to the Kochi Metro Rail Project? Thanks for answering!
Q:Hello everyone, I am Ganesh Nambiar. I read some really good news that Pachalam over bridge project will now have a beneficiary. Who are they and what are they doing to provide the help?
Latest Answer: Actually, I think the money is still short. Land required here is about 62 cents. and each cent costs about 15 lakhs as per the evaluration committee's report. The total expenditure to pay off all the 28 land owners here would cost about 15 crores.
Latest Answer: Actually, there are a lot of things that have to be done before the piling works for the flyover will begin. I think that a good share of land for the flyovers has been handed over to DMRC, except for two plots. Timely handling over of full extent of land is crucial for relocating pipelines and cables before piling.
Latest Answer: oh, for the construction of the metro station at ROB Pachalam, it has been decided by the govt. that those who give their property would get the appropriate compensation. But, i dont think that the people will get the market rate for their land. Will they?
Latest Answer: Hi Ayesha..The construction work of flyover at Edappally junction may soon initiate. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has decided to send a proposal to National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to construct this flyover.
Q:Hi..since construction work at kochi metro will start on its desired time , then why does any side roads have been laid..?? Traffic will increase if these roads are nor relayed.
Latest Answer: Totally agree with you Lewin...Relaying of side roads is specially important on the stretch between Edappally and Kaloor because once the metro is initiated at this sector then the traffic will have to be averted from the old highway linking Edappally, Mamangalam, Palarivattom and Kaloor.
