Cidco fails to fetch a good land deal!
The plots at Ghansoli Mumbai recently was sold for reasonable rates wherein, City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) failed to fetch these lands a good deal!
However, Cidco officials say that corporation had opened bids for Ghansoli plots wherein six plots earned around Rs112 crore.
The continuous slow down in realty market resulted in these plots sold at reasonable prices.
Earlier, these same plots priced Rs2 lakh per sqmt and because of high rates there were hardly any response for the sale of plots.
Therefore the developers had to sell these lands for reasonable rates.
Also, Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI) experts say that Cidco should sell plots at reasonable prices paving way for the developers to construct affordable housing.
