HDFC Property invests in Bangalore Real Estate

Rs 50 Cr investment is made by HDFC Property Fund for the Fortuna Project SPV in Bangalore. In recent past (October 2011) HDFC also invested $90 million in a upcoming IT park near the BIAL.

The Fortuna SPV is a combination of two projects. The first is the Fortuna North City near Yelahanka. This project has a business park, a hotel and a residential complex.The second project named Fortuna Windflower at Sahakar nagar. This project is a complete residential project. And it will contain 360 apartments.

The said MOU is valid and subsisting.
     
    Since the ‘OWNERS’ failed to perform their part of obligations under the MoU dated 26.07.2010, our Client has filed a suit for specific performance and Permanent Injunction, O S 491/2012 against the ‘OWNERS’ before the Hon’ble Principal Civil Judge Senior Division, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore. The Hon’ble Court vide its order dated 17.04.2012 has granted an order of temporary injunction restraining the ‘OWNERS’ , their agents, successors and any one claiming under ‘OWNERS’ above named from alienating, encumbering or creating any third party interest over the Schedule Property and the said order is extended on subsequent dates and the same is still binding on the ‘OWNERS’
     
    It is learnt that one M/s. FORTUNA URBANSCAPE PVT LTD., is marketing the project under the name and style “FORTUNA NORTH CITY” on our schedule Property.
     
    In view of the above we hereby caution that if anybody deals with the aforesaid ‘OWNERS’ & M/S FORTUNA URBANSCAPE PVT LTD., in respect of the Schedule Property by way of entering into any MOU or agreement or otherwise, they will be doing so at his/her/their own risk and cost and may render themselves liable for action in accordance with law for having committed contempt of court, our client will not be bound by any such transaction or dealing.

    All that piece and parcel of agricultural lands bearing Sy Nos. 25/1, Sy No.26, Sy No.42/5 and Sy No.42/6 measuring in all about 10 acres situated at Venkatala Village, Yelahanka Hobli, Yelahanka Taluk, Bangalore and bounded as follows: 
    East   by      :  Sy.No.s 25/2, Sy.No.25/3, Sy.No.25/4 and Road 

    West by       :  Sy.No.s 27, 28, 42/2, 42/3 and 42/4
