November 29 last date to pay property tax
November 29 is the last date to pay property tax for the second half of the year without penalty. Property tax for the year 2010-11 can be paid online or Bangalore One centres and at BBMP help centres where it was paid last year. Payment has to be made by cheque or DD in the name of the Commissioner, BBMP.
BBMP Bangalore offers online property tax payment service and there are no transaction charges for the card users making online payment. If you have not paid the first installment, you can pay it along with the second installment with a penalty which will be calculated at two percent per month from June 1, till the date of payment of the first installment. You can also pay your tax for the year 2008-09, 2009-10 online.
