New law proposed in Delhi for RWAs to represent in ward committees

A new law have been proposed for the RWAs benefit in Delhi.

The law proposes that among the members of RWAs and residents, some of them will be selected to represent them in the ward committees.

The old law of Delhi Municipal Corporation Act of 1957 will be replaced as the new law comes in and it will ensure transparency and accountability.

An expert panel has already started taking views from denizens regarding the same by posting a link on the Delhi government’s website.

The central legislation act will be replaced by the proposed law which has been prepared by state legislation.
