Mixed land use policy to be proposed by BDA Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) is very soon coming up with the effective “mixed land use” policy for the betterment of the city.
After the implementation of this policy, the diversified use of residential land will be more subtle.
According to current provision, one third of land in residential plots can be used for commercial space and vice versa.
However, the new plan will minimize the use to 4000 sqm for mixed land use.
The civic body offilcials are also identifying the areas in the city where mixed land use can be permitted. Some of the areas identified are Bapujinagar, Ashok Nagar, Satya Nagar, Saheed Nagar, Jaydev Vihar to Ekamrakanan and Cuttack Road.
