Bamboo house resists earthquake!
Fearing of losing your property with earthquake disasters? Do not worry, the Environment Ministry in New Delhi has recommended bamboo-based houses.
These bamboo-based houses has been developed and guaranteed after a successful test by a government institute especially for earthquake-prone areas in India.
It has been revealed that the Bangalore-based Indian Plywood Industries Research and Training Institute (IPIRTI) has developed and also tested the bamboo house for disaster-prone areas.
The properties in India can be secured from earthquake disaster by constructing bamboo-based houses in future.
The environment ministry officials say that the bamboo-based house constructed for experimenting resisted seven repetitions of a typical Zone 5 earthquake, showing no signs of falling apart.
