Godrej Properties concentrating on redevelopment segment
At present, redevelopment of properties is the “in thing” in real estate sector.
One of the top realty player, Godrej Properties has planned to expand its project portfolio in the redevelopment segment.
In context with same GPL Managing Director and CEO Pirjsha Godrej says, that in order to increase the availability of housing in Mumbai, it requires large number of redevelopment projects.
Recently, Godrej Projects Development (GPDPL) signed an agreement with Kamla Landmark Property Leasing and Finance, to redevelop around 18 residential buildings in Mumbai.
In the pipeline, Godrej has also declared its work flow with leading companies like RR Builders to redevelop a MHADA property in Byculla. Also with Godrej & Boyce (G&B) managing conceptualization, design, sales, and marketing for all future realty development projects.
Godrej Projects announced its plans to launch, 15 realty projects inclusive of new as well as redevelopment projects within this year.
The realty company also has its presence in 12 cities including Nagpur, Chandigarh, Pune, Mangalore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Kochi and Hyderabad.
