Bangalore: Not a preferable place for MNC’s anymore
The other cities in India are getting larger share of business investment than Bangalore. Poor infrastructure, high crime rate and cost of living index reduces the attraction of many investors.
Cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and NCR are gaining good traction among MNCs, as the real estate rentals in Bangalore are higher than what it is in Pune, Hyderabad or Ahmedabad.
Higher cost of living in Bangalore has increased the cost for the companies as, apart from salaries they need to spent more on infrastructure.
Other states of the country have formed IT associations to attract investments. The IT & IT’s Industry Associations can be seen in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Pune.
Despite having an excellent IT infrastructure, Bangalore’s transportation facility is poorer than other parts of the country.
The positive part of Bangalore is its excellent climate, hotel infrastructure and international connectivity. The talent pool in Bangalore is still unmatchable in the country.
