Buyers demand transparency from realtors, authority

Comments(2) Sub Category:Delhi-NCR,Realty News Posted On: Jul 09, 2012

Buyers staged a protest in Greater Noida for lack of transparency in the system as developers were booking houses and plots without getting layout plans approved by Yamuna Expressway Authority.

They demanded that the Authority has to upload the status of developers and their projects in their area on their official website.

On Wednesday, buyers rushed into marketing offices of various developers. They were enraged because whenever buyers approach the Authority, officials are reluctant to share the status of developers. Buyers should be given information on allotment and project layout plans that have been passed.

CREDAI (NCR) vice-president, RK Arora, said that developers should maintain transparency and book units only after their documents have been legally passed.
