Court asks DDA to resolve the dispute with builder
Delhi High Court today asked the Centre and the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to resolve the dispute of alleged extra flats built in the Commonwealth Games village.
Due to unresolved issues between the builder and DDA, buyers have not been able to move into the flats.
The flats were built by real estate major Emaar MFG. The DDA has alleged the builder exceeded the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) by constructing some extra flats in the entire project in which 1,168 flats have been built in 34 towers.
The court order highlights the hassle of buyers. Due to the ongoing dispute the people, who had purchased flats at the CWG village, have not got them even after over a year.
