Potholes creating traffic problems in Bangalore
Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is blamed for the potholes in many arterial roads in the city, which is in turn has aggravated the traffic problem in the city.
The pothole-ridden arterial roads across the city, particularly in the central business district, particularly in Majestic area, are being identified as the main culprit of the traffic woes during peak hours.
Bad patches of carriageways on the road connecting Sangolli Rayanna Junction and Link Road and Platform Road leading to Malleswaram, Cottonpet Main Road toward Mysore Road, and K.G. Road toward Majestic are creating headaches for the traffic police.
Pathetic condition of roads has increased the burden on the traffic policemen who are finding it difficult to manage the increased number of vehicles.
