Retail rentals in Delhi soar to 21%
The retail rentals in Delhi have increased to 21% and the areas falling in to it are South extension, Karol Bagh, Khan Market and others.
According to global property consultant Cushman and Wakefield (C&W), the high street of South Extension witnessed a growth of about 21% in rental values during June-September period, which was further followed by Karol Bagh having an increased growth of 7% in the same period.
The Khan Market is India’s most expensive retail destination with a rental value of Rs 1,250 per sq ft per month. The prices have increased due to demand in the retail locations in these areas.
However, the mall rentals have remained stable all over the city owing to the high vacancy rates.
