Hennur: A hot residential destination

Real estate in hennurHennur, an area located in the northern part of Bangalore, has been emerging as a hot residential destination because of the close proximity to Bangalore International Airport at Devanahalli.

Hennur is not well developed yet and there is a great need of infrastructural developments. However the locality has a bright future prospect. Moreover the government is planning to widen the Hennur Road to four lane highway along with the Cargo road for the International Airport.

The area has witnessed a higher supply of premium projects with price ranging from Rs 80 lakh to Rs 1 crore. There was a rise of nine percent in property price in Hennur this quarter and now the prices of properties in Hennur ranges in between Rs 3,500 to Rs 4,000 per sq ft.

It is predicted that in the coming years, the locality is likely to see a new dimension because of the close proximity to the airport and planned developments. With this, the property prices are also expected to go up by 15 to 20 percent in the next one year.

The area is also surrounded by many educational institutions, hospitals and IT Parks. DS Max Spring Dale, DS-MAX Spring, DS Max Scion, Mantri Aura, and Plama Heights are some of the projects coming up at Hennur road.

Recently, South India based, Mantri developers Pvt Ltd has launched Mantri Web City, India’s first techno residential project located on the fast developing Hennur Main Road.

The project will have 2 and 3 BHK apartments including penthouses in sizes ranging from 965 sq ft to 1,835 sq ft. The price of the apartments ranges from Rs 4,490 per sq. ft.

The residential development comprises of technologies such as robotics, cloud computing and nano technology. Some of the major technology features in the project are a digital wall where people can tap and listen to various genres of music; a digital library; kiosks in every lobby that allow residents to order groceries in real time, thereby negating the need to order or get one’s groceries; touch screens at the clubhouse where people could upload and share their pictures; a web room – which talks about the evolution and history of the web.

It is said that, Mantri Web City will be designed with a vibrant social environment similar to online world that will encourage social connectivity for people of all age group. Mantri Web City is a world class project designed by international architects, designers and consultants.
