HSIIDC goes online to allot plots
In a bid to attract new investors, the industry authority, HSIIDC, plans to allot the plots “online”. In the latest in a series of systemic upgrades, the authority’s head office announced the new online facility for prospective entrepreneurs planning to invest in Haryana. With the “online mode”, the corporation expects the process of industrial plots allotment to become swifter.
Speaking on the new “online mode”, one of the officials said, “Applicants only have to register on the HSIIDC’s e-governance portal and submit the application fee along with all the required documents.” Currently, industrial and commercial plots in IMT Faridabad, IMT Bawal, industrial estates in Panipat and Barhi are up for allotment through the online facility.
HSIIDC has set the application deadlines for the new plots for April. Before that, the corporation is devising somehow manage to reverse the decline in new investment that industrial zones in Haryana have suffered over the last five years.
The applicants can visit corporation’s new web portal, www.hsiidcsewa.org.in, for guidelines on terms of plot allotment and payment.
Giving more information on the process, an official said, “After the application is submitted, an acknowledgement will be generated and sent to the applicant. This document will have to be signed and returned by the applicant to the HSIIDC offices, after which the applications will be processed.”
