One billion dollars to be invested by China this year on Gujarat
China is now making plans in order to invest one billion dollars on the state of Gujarat this year. In the first place, they have decided to work towards establishing a China Town next to Sanand which happens to be an automobile hub.
As a response to the Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj who had made an appeal to Wang Yi, her Chinese counterpart in order to establish some industrial parks within the country, there were a couple of companies from China who short listed three important locations located in the district of Sanand in Ahmedabad for this purpose. They include Sachana, Jakhwada and Dalsana.
There are expectations that a group of companies from China will invest a large sum of money. Over all, their target is to spend a total of one billion dollars on Gujarat in 2014.
There was a delegation of around 15 companies from the Zhejiang Province of Wengzhou who came to India along with their Foreign Minister last week. They visited cities like Delhi and Ahmedabad and looked out for new investment opportunities in the last few days.
There was also a township plan presented to the delegation by Technopolis Township who had accompanied the Chief Minister of Gujarat back then, Mister Narendra Modi during his visit to China in the year 2011. The CITIC based in Ahmedabad was established right after this.
