Green industrial state to be set up by Codissia in Coimbatore
Codissia which is also popularly known as Coimbatore Small Industries Association is recently emerging as a trend setter in several ways. It was back in the year 1998-99 that it established the idea of coming up with a fair trade complex in Coimbatore.
The Deputy Managing Director of Sidbi mentioned that back in those days, people hardly heard of industrial associations who approached banks for loans. Usually, they would ask for grants. So, when this kind of a proposition came up at Sidbi, after quite a lot of deliberation and discussion.
In order to inaugurate the 15th edition of Intec 2014, Manai was present in the city. Intec happens to be a industrial trade fair expo which had been acquired by Codissia. A platform has been provided for people from all across the country in order to organize fairs, conduct marriages, perform yoga, and discourse and so on. The industry association after successfully coming up with the Codissia Trade fair complex are now working hard on its next mega initiative for promoting an industrial state which was located on the outskirts of the city.
