‘KUL Ecoloch’ township project in Pune will be India’s first wire-free project
In a development which will be the first of its kind in India, the well-known and vastly-experienced real estate development and construction firm Kumar Urban Development Limited (KUL) is coming up with an integrated eco-friendly township project in Pune.
The project – called ‘KUL Ecoloch’ – will be India’s first wire-free project; thanks to the fact that the developer has decided to do away with multiple and clumsy cables which generally mar the aesthetical value of a residential project. The project will boast ‘Fiber to the Home’ (FTTH) technology for the first time at a residential project in India.
The KUL Ecoloch will be a gated residential complex in which Internet connectivity will be available to the residents as a result of a smart city format which has been initiated by KUL for deploying the gigabit passive optical network (GPON) technology.
With FTTH technology having been widely recognized as the optimal solution for providing broadband services, KUL Director Kruti Jain said that bringing the FTTH technology – under which optical fiber in installed from a central location to homes – to the KUL Ecoloch project in Pune underscores the developers “to provide the best of the amenities to our discerning customers.”
Noting that KUL projects integrate Smart + Connected Real Estate into eco-friendly communities, Jain said: “We are happy to have the country’s first ever FTTF for homes at KUL Ecoloch which also has eco-friendly and energy saving features.”
