According to reliable sources, the three bridges located across the drain of Shahdara shall be widened. This shall help in bringing relief to all several commuters located between the flyover of Delhi and Noida. The officials of the Noida Authority recently made it a point to meet the food and irrigation department of Delhi. The step was taken in order to fast track the whole project.

There are 4 to 8 laden projects that shall be widened this year. One of the traffic police officers have also mentioned that the Shahdara drain is about 6 kilometres long and the tailpeak peaks between 9-11 am and again in the evening between 6-8 pm. As soon as the width of the bridge has been increased twice, the commuters shall be enjoying a smooth ride to the city of Delhi, Faridabad as well as Ghaziabad.

The officials have also mentioned that the Noida Authority has approved quite a lot of money so that the bridges can be widened across the drain. The Authority has approved about 3% of the expenses of the project to be released.
