Japan looking forward to sort out differences
India and Japan have resolved in order to sort out the issues that are concerning the special economic zones and joint procurement of gas from the third world countries. The issues that have come up for the discussion during the meeting of Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Japanese State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Kazuyoshi Akaba here.
The two leaders have also been discussing the issues which could be taken up during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Japan. The Japanese are very keen in the light of the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister. Hence they want to sort out if there are any concerns, the Commerce and Industry Minister stated. She also stated that the Japanese side have raised several issues that are related to the SEZ, gas, end-user and transfer pricing.
Both of the countries have agreed to work intensively at the officers and secretaries level. They are also keen in getting many things sorted out so that when the Prime Minister visits they are able to have some deliverable. Post the Prime Minister’s visit to Japan the relation between the two countries will be more amiable.
