20% Quota Group Housing Schemes Hyderabad

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has announced 20 per cent quota clause in group of housing schemes. It has also recorded the lost revenue of Rs.5 crore this year. The State Government has made it mandatory for the builders constructing in one acre and above to reserve a payment of 20 per cent for economically weaker sections (EWS) and lower income groups (LIG) housing.
GHMC reported over hardly any application received for the layouts measuring one acre from January 28, 2011. Mr C. Sekhar Reddy the vice-president of Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India reported saying that the builders and also developers are not against the 20 per cent quota scheme.
