Fire and Emergency inspection in Bangalore Buildings

The Emergency Service Departments claimed that the old buildings in Bangalore city lacks fire safety measures. This is very dangerous in terms of safety in Bangalore. Any fire emergency breaks through,  Bangalore is said to be in the helpless situation looking ahead for the Fire Department to reach the spot until then the emergency cases would turn to worse scenarios.

BK Hampagol the deputy director of technical department of fire and emergency services reported saying that the buildings constructed after the year 2005 have fire safety measures implemented but in case of older buildings which have been constructed during 19th century have been found violating norms. However the fire department in concern with the Karnataka state government has provided certain period of time for these building owners to implement the same at the earliest.

The officials of the fire department have decided to create an awareness to the builders before establishing any such buildings. In this prevailing situation the Fire Emergency Department is in a state of balancing attending more than 2 fires in the city everyday. The Karnataka Fire and Emergency Services was given the inspection work and the department has found 80 Central Business District not having installed the fire emergency services in them.
