Nirmala Sitharaman: Cabinet Approved Rs 25,000 crore alternate fund for stalled housing projects
Providing relief to lakhs of homebuyers, FM Nirmala Sitharaman announced an alternative investment fund of Rs 25 crore to help the real estate sector for 1,600 stalled housing projects covering 4.58 lakh units. Government’s aim to give incentive to the real estate market to improve.
The decision was approved by the Union Cabinet at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Centre will invest Rs 10,000 crores into the real estate market to overcome stalled housing projects across the nation.
