Jaipur development body to start to drive against lease money defaulters
JAIPUR: Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has determined to break the switch on lease money defaulters and has a subserved 15-day requirement. The civic body has served a record of 100 defaulters and programs to collect Rs 20 crore.
In the notice, the civic body announced it would connect properties or seize bank accounts if delinquents do not pay the amount.
At a gathering chaired by Jaipur development commissioner T Ravikant here on Saturday, regulations were assigned to all the region commissioners to concentrate on receiving back the money from the defaulters. The JDA has previously uploaded the titles of these defaulters on its website.
The JDA has given a target to obtain lease money amounting adjacent to Rs 20 crore from commercial and residential units. Like JMC, the JDA prior did not have the ability to catch bank accounts of delinquents avoiding urban development (UD) tax. After JDA obtained related rights, it has determined to contract the loop. “There are higher than three dozen defaulters who have not installed lease money considering allocation. The JDA has expedited the method and decided to join the bank accounts of the defaulters,” stated the official.
Experts in the department announced in order to fulfill its dry coffers, the cash-strapped civic body has previously served a list of 30 big defaulters who have not installed the lease money.
A senior executive stated, “A target to overcome and recover 40% of lease money from the delinquents has continued providing to each region commissioners”.
Officials stated as through the Public Demand Recovery Act, the bank account of defaulters can be added. The Jaipur Development Authority coffers are draining up quick and the modern capabilities to receive revenue will raise the movement of numerous significant projects like elevated road, regularization of PRN scheme and others.
