Green Aesthetics a new mantra at Residential Complexes in Chennai

In Chennai the green mantra is on high alert and maintaining them in the residential areas is a biggest challenge today in the apartment communities in Chennai city. The committee member of Prince Greenwood in Chennai reported saying that the people are enjoying as well as the childrens too are growing up in an environment is a good and healthy lifestle, he added. However the costliest landscape element is grass as it needs to be watered every day and trimed fortnightly and also it is depending on the association taking interest in maintaining them. Some of the apartment community projects are not open to public in regard with the Open Space Reservation (OSR).

Some associations take initiatives of the local bodies for usage from the Residents’ Welfare Association (RWA) members. The apartment associations are spending nearly Rs. 40,000 per month for the maintenance of the greens and also using nearly about 1 lakh litres of treated sewage water for gardening and also in near future the apartment maintainance charges is going to increase by a few hundred rupees, through which the apartment residents are expected to co-operate. The green asthetics mantra has been introduced in almost all the apartment communities in Chennai for the welfare of the residents and also to encourage healthy growing of children and also the families.
