242 Commercial Properties Sealed in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) officials recently sealed nearly 242 commercial properties in the Ahmedabad city. The shop owners were restrained who defaulted their property tax and this continued for ten consecutive days. East, west and new west zone commercial properties were sealed and during the sealing drive nearly 1,600 properties in the city were found defaulting the property tax.
One of the AMC official reported saying that the route from SG Highway to Ashram Road in Ahmedabad recorded maximum number of sealed shops in malls and also in the shopping complexes. Rebate has been granted to those builders or property owners who are willing to clear their remaining dues, however the sealing drive would not stop at any cause, the official added.
