Corporates demand more freedom from govt’s interference
In the next 45 days, India is probably going to see a new government and corporate are demanding “less government interference” and more private sector participation in “nation-building”. Pankaj Patel, chairman and managing director of city-based Zydus Cadila echoed his sentiments that he is looking forward to less interference, quick policy reforms and more liberalization. Rajiv Lall, executive chairman of IDFC (Infrastructure Development Finance Company) while quoting BJP’s prime-ministerial candidate Narendra Modi says “Less government and more governance,” He also spoke about a nationwide program to finance construction of warehouses and ‘fixing’ the railways.
