Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) officials have revealed that, on Monday, a total of 26 builders qualified in the financial bids for 9 of the 11 group housing plots which are on offer in Greater Noida.
With the bids for the group housing plots having been sought by the GNIDA in an attempt to boost its finances, GNIDA officials have disclosed that the bids of the 26 builders have helped the authority fetch an amount of more than Rs 61 crore.
The officials also said that the bids of two developers were rejected after a scrutiny of their technical papers.
Going by the details shared by the GNIDA officials, the reserve price for the 9 group housing plots on offer in Greater Noida was fixed at Rs 22,850 per square metre. However, the bids which the authority received from the 26 builders on Monday ranged between Rs 23,600 and Rs 27,000 per square metre.
The builders have already deposited 5 percent of the allotment amount – totalling up to Rs 61 crore – and will likely deposit another Rs 61 crore in the coming 45 days. After that amount is deposited, the builders will be given allotment letters by the GNIDA.
