Expenditure Finance Committee of Delhi approves five infra projects
A second meeting was conducted between the Chief Secretary SK Shrivastava and the Expenditure Finance Committee of Delhi where serious discussions took place. This time they took into consideration and also approved around 5 infrastructure projects. This will be used for making senior school buildings.
Last month, when the first meeting was organized, the Expenditure Finance Committee had concurred the approval of projects which cost a lot of money. This included the NCC Bhawan at Rohini, school buildings located at sector 17 and 22 of Dwarka, Hastsal Village. Some roads also require redevelopment and construction such as Bali Road, GT Karnal Road, Jhimil and Warzipur. All of them are located in industrial areas.
One of government officials of Delhi also mentioned the local bodies have already sent their approvals and plans and there will be various facilities in all these buildings, including water harvesting, installing sewerage treatment plant as well as LED lights. There will be a total of 41 class rooms within these 5 buildings. Two rooms shall be allotted to the principal and the vice principal. There will be libraries, toilets, library, computer as well as medical facilities.
