Final hearing of DLF plea against CCI order on Nov 29
New Delhi- The final hearing of DLF’s petition against Competition Commission of India’s order imposing 630-crore penalty on the company was deferred to November 29 by the Competition Appellate Tribunal (COMPAT).
A time of two weeks was given to the fair trade regulator for the completion of the draft modifications of the sale agreements between DLF and the apartment owners of its two projects known as DLF Park Palace and The Belaire-in Gurgaon. However, the CCI had requested for more time from the COMPAT on October 4.
Based on the agreement with the CCI as per its order, the apartment buyers has previously filed their draft of the agreement. The CCI on August 12, 2011 had levied 630-crore penalty on DLF after realising that the company was guilty of abuse of its dominant position in Gurgaon market.
