High Court Sends A Notice to Government On Matters of Illegal Constructions
The government has finally decided to take up the matter of illegal constructions in the village of Chhatarpur. This issue was reported on Wednesday by the Centre and the Delhi government itself who were pleaded to by a particular group. This group wanted the illegal construction to be completely removed on governmental land.
Notices were issued to the Delhi Development Authority, South Corporation and Delhi Police commissioner by Justice Pradeep Nandrajog. He also happens to be the head of the bench at the same time. The next hearing has been scheduled on the 6th of August and the bench is eagerly looking forward to their reply and verdict.
Advocate Sumeet Pushkarna had represented the notice which was issued to the ministry on the matters of urban development. Apart from that, the court had also taken the initiative of asking the revenue in charge assistant, tehsildar and patwari to bring their field book next time positively on the date of hearing. The court also gave its strict orders to divide or demarcate the sites definitely within a period of two weeks.
