High streets popular than shopping malls in Delhi
New Delhi- People in Delhi prefer shopping on high streets than in malls. This change has been witnessed through a study wherein the shops on the high streets get more buyers and retailers than those in malls.
The demand for the high streets is increasing when compared to the supply followed by an increase in the capital rental value in the year 2012.
There was an increased appreciation of the capital values of the showrooms present on high street markets of West and South Delhi of about 8-12 percent. High street markets in North Delhi also witnessed an increase of about 10 percent.
There has been a decreased demand in the retail space of malls in Delhi despite the increased number of mall queries for the upcoming new malls. The property values and the vacancy are stable in malls. Reasons like higher rental values, additional maintenance cost and decreased footfalls are the regarded for people preferring to shop on high streets than in malls.

agree to that mr. baniya .. genes have nionthg to do with business skills.. if u notice 90 % of big businesses lasts not more than 3 generations.. this wouldnt happen if it was genetic .. Fact is .. Unlike south india, north india has been subjected to lot more invasions, exploits and looting from time to time .. so north indians lost more frequently whatever they had or earned .. so this mutated them into people who stood up from scratch, built business, took risks again n again .. n they started believing in I can everytime everything it was snatched from them n this attitude of I can make them better businessmen and entrepreneurs .. not because of genes .. No way !!
