Illegal connections blamed over water woes
T Venkataraju, engineer-inchief of BSWWB said that water disruption of Magadi Road and nearby areas was due to illegal connections by slum-dwellers.
He said because of this, residents with metered connections have gone through suffering. The gang who came out to protest is mostly included of customers without meters.
Water supply was disrupted due to an air-valve burst near Srinagar on Wednesday, told Venkataraju.
