Mumbai Metro finally gets permission from the Railway Board and is now ready to roll
The Mumbai Metro Rail which was earlier going through a phase has finally cleared its last and most important intrusion since the Railway Board had given it final permission in order begin with all the commercial operations to the operator itself named the Anil Ambani Mumbai One.
The operation which is for about 11.4 kilometres will definitely begin one week itself. The company had mentioned earlier that it would work towards its services within about 7 days after getting approval. PTI has also seen the copy of the Railway Board approval. However, on the other hand the Mumbai Metro One has not received any kind of information yet from the board in this matter.
Abhay Mishra, who happens to be the chief executive of Metro One has told the PTI that they are still waiting to hear on this matter from the board and that they haven’t received any kind of communication or information yet. But they are definitely prepared to begin all operations within a period of 7 days once they have received a receipt of approval from the Board.
