NHAI to consider out of court settlement with Expressway Operator
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has told the Delhi High Court that its board would consider reaching an out-of-court settlement to solve its differences with Delhi-Gurgaon Super Connectivity Ltd (DGSCL), the concessionaire operating the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway.
NHAI board has decided to hold a meeting on August 13 to consider the suggestions to settle the issue between the parties.
The problem started with NHAI alleging DGSCL committing fraud by re-financing the project without getting its approval.
In response, DGSCL appealed to the court to restrain NHAI from taking any coercive action against it.
