Noida residents demand conversion to freehold

1 Comment Sub Category:Delhi-NCR,RWA/Owners’ Association Posted On: Sep 13, 2012

Federation of Noida Residents Welfare Association (FONRWA) has written a letter to Noida Chief Executive officer demanding conversion of leasehold to freehold and raising other unresolved issues.

FONRWA says that although state government had introduced conversion to freehold and all housing boards, including Ghaziabad Development Authority, Noida authority officials were not implementing the conversion in reality.

The Noida residents claim that they are ready to pay the conversion charges and demanded the conversion soon. Along with conversion, the residents have also demanded increase in the Floor Area Ratio (FAR).
