The Gujarat High Court has asked Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) chief to inspect all 908 high rise buildings in the city for fire safety equipment, and submit a report before the court. According to statistics, there are 1232 high-rise buildings in the city and out of these, 907 do not have fire safety no objection certificate (NOC) from the fire department.
