Chennai- Residents of Panagal Park and T. Nagar were fed up of illegal parking and huckster encroachment. Thus a group of residents took ‘protective shelter’ at R1 Mambalam police station on January 13, 2013. Finally cops assured them to look into this matter seriously with suitable changes to traffic regulations and pointed out Chennai Corporation’ responsibility to handle encroachments.
