The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has submitted a report on the amount spent on garbage disposal, including salaries paid to pourakarmikas. They have spent Rs 25,708 lakhs on salaries of pourakarmikas, health inspectors and vehicles in the last four years, according to BBMP.
